Well, this was our first experience with PFN. Not real impressed with them. They waited until 2 days before closing to request a document about a transaction that had taken place almost 2 weeks prior and that was on our bank statement for that month. Almost seemed like they didn't look at the bank statement when they received it. They also pushed our closing back a day with no explanation, which caused us some headaches considering we had movers scheduled. This is the 5th house we have bought and it seems that every time, something changes in the process. We closed on our last house in 15 days and didn't have any issues (and it was done all online). Luckily, our closing attorney was very gracious and had us come in early that morning. As for our mortgage person here, Bonnye is just so nice and always 'bubbly'. We had some questions and she would email and then call to make sure we understood. What I liked was that she gave us a list of documents that she needed up front. Made life a lot easier. If you are ever in the Hayesville NC area and looking to buy a home, go see Bonnye at Saddleridge Mortgage.

Holly G. is fabulous. She has done all of our loans over the past almost 25 years. She is like part of the family. PFN could have done better on the rate for our loan for sure, not satisfied with that at all. I guess they wanted to pocket more funds for themselves.
